Permanency benefits are determined after you have completed your medical care. These benefits are meant to compensate you for the “permanent” condition related to your injury on the job. This benefit is not the same as pain and suffering. There are several ways to calculate permanency depending on your diagnosis, medical care and final doctor’s release.
